RETURNS & EXCHANGES POLICY

Our Commitment to You

At KevH.Barberstudio, we stand behind every product we sell. As professional barbers, we personally use and recommend these products. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help make it right.


RETURN WINDOW

14-Day Return Policy

You have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to return eligible items. Items must be in original, unopened condition with all original packaging and seals intact.


ELIGIBLE ITEMS FOR RETURN

✅ Returnable Items:

• Unopened grooming products in original sealed packaging (pomades, waxes, shampoos, oils, balms, sprays)
• Electric tools in original, unopened packaging with all manufacturer seals intact
• Unused barbering equipment and accessories
• Combs, brushes, scissors, and tools in unused condition
• Items with manufacturing defects or damage during shipping

❌ Non-Returnable Items:

• Opened or used personal care products
• Products with broken seals or missing packaging
• Custom or personalized items
• Items showing any signs of use
• Sale items marked as "Final Sale"
• Gift cards

Important: For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened personal care products. This complies with Australian Consumer Law hygiene exceptions.


HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM

Step 1: Contact Us First (Required)

Email us at kevh.barberstudio@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery with:
• Your order number
• Product name(s) you wish to return
• Reason for return
• Photos of the item (if damaged or defective)

We'll respond within 24 hours with:
• Return authorization
• Return instructions
• Return address or pickup arrangement


Step 2: Return Your Item

OPTION A - Post Return (All Customers)

1. Package items securely in original packaging
2. Include a note with your order number and email
3. Send via tracked postal service to:

Important:
• Use tracked shipping (Australia Post with tracking)
• Keep your tracking number until refund is processed
• Return shipping costs are customer's responsibility (unless item is defective/damaged)
• We recommend insuring valuable items


OPTION B - Local Drop-off (Sydney Customers Only)

Save on return shipping!
• Contact us to confirm pickup hours: 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 7 days a week
• Drop off in person at Unit 2/10-12 Stanley Street, Arncliffe NSW 2205
• Bring your order confirmation email
• Get instant confirmation of your return


REFUND PROCESS

Timeline:
• Items inspected within 2 business days of receipt
• Approved refunds processed within 5-7 business days
• Refund issued to your original payment method
• You'll receive email confirmation once refund is processed

Refund Amount:
• Full purchase price for eligible unopened items in original condition
• Original shipping costs are non-refundable (unless item was defective/damaged)
• Return shipping costs are customer's responsibility (unless item was defective/damaged)

Processing Times by Payment Method:
• Credit/Debit Card: 5-10 business days (depending on your bank)
• PayPal: 3-5 business days
• Shop Pay: 5-7 business days


EXCHANGES

Need a different product, size, or variant?

We don't offer direct exchanges, but here's the fastest way:

1. Place a new order for the item you want (to secure stock)
2. Return the original item following our return process
3. We'll process your refund as soon as we receive the return

This ensures you get the product you want without waiting for the return to process first.


DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If your item arrives damaged or is defective, we'll make it right immediately.

What to do:
• Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
• Provide photos of the item, packaging, and any visible damage
• Include your order number

We'll arrange:
• FREE return shipping (prepaid label or local pickup)
• Full refund OR replacement (your choice)
• Expedited processing - no waiting

Damaged items receive priority processing.


INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

For orders shipped outside Australia:

• Same 14-day return policy applies
• Customer is responsible for return shipping costs and any customs fees
• We strongly recommend using tracked, insured shipping
• Items must clear Australian customs to be eligible for refund
• Due to longer shipping times, please contact us as soon as you decide to return

We recommend contacting us before shipping international returns to confirm the process.


YOUR RIGHTS UNDER AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Our returns policy operates alongside your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:

• A repair, replacement, or refund for major problems with a product
• Compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
• A remedy if products are not of acceptable quality, don't match description, or are unfit for purpose

These rights apply in addition to our standard return policy and cannot be excluded.

MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES

Electric tools and professional equipment come with manufacturer warranties:

• 12-month warranty on most electric clippers, trimmers, and shavers
• 24-month warranty on premium professional tools
• Coverage includes manufacturing defects and workmanship issues
• Does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or normal wear

To make a warranty claim:
1. Contact us with your order number and proof of purchase
2. Describe the issue and provide photos if possible
3. We'll coordinate with the manufacturer on your behalf


FAULTY PRODUCTS AFTER 14 DAYS

If a product develops a fault after the 14-day return window:

• Contact us with your order number and details of the fault
• Manufacturer warranty may still apply (up to 12-24 months)
• Australian Consumer Law provides additional protections for faulty goods
• We'll work with you to arrange repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate


CANCELLATIONS

Cancel Before Shipment:
• Contact us immediately at kevh.barberstudio@gmail.com
• If order hasn't been dispatched, we'll cancel and issue full refund
• Orders are typically dispatched within 24 hours

Cancel After Shipment:
• Follow standard return process once you receive the item
• You'll need to return the item to receive a refund
